Disha Patani is arguably one of the most followed Bollywood actress among the new generation female actors. She has often found herself in news because of her rumoured romance with Tiger Shroff.
The actress was also in news recently after she was signed for Salman Khan’s next Eid release, Bharat. She has also been a favourite actress for Mumbai’s paparazzi, who’ve religiously followed her movements both in India and abroad.
The actress had recently set internet on fire with her black monokini. Her photo in black monokini had truly gone viral with more 1.5 million followers liking the post.
But the actress found herself in a spot of bother on on Saturday after she was seen attempting to imitate India’s winking sensation, Priya Prakash Varrier. In the photo (see below), Disha is seen wearing almost the identical school uniform, worn by Priya in her upcoming love drama, Oru Adaar Love. Unlike Priya’s winking scene, shot aesthetically in the film, many pointed out that Disha had spoiled her own attempts with horrible facial expressions.
One fan wrote, “She is trying too hard.” Another commented, “She has weird face. Trying hard to wink with open mouth.” “cute?? She couldn’t imitate her!! Dude It’s a flop!!” commented another Instagram user in response to the photo posted by entertainment portal Pinkvilla.
Priya had faced the wrath of religious fundamentalists after her winking scene became viral. However, the Supreme Court recently gave her a huge relief by dismissing a petition filed a Muslim group, which said that the picturisation of the song on Priya had hurt the religious sentiments of the community.
