Actor Dia Mirza has revealed that she was pregnant with her first child as she shared her photo with a baby bump from her honeymoon in the Maldives. The former beauty queen wrote a heartfelt note to share her excitement.
She wrote, “Blessed to be… One with Mother Earth… One with the Life Force that is the beginning of everything… Of all stories. Lullabies. Songs. Of new saplings. And the blossoming of hope. Blessed to cradle this purest of all dreams in my womb.”

In the photo, Dia can be seen placing her hands on the baby bump as she posed for the camera. The photo was believed to have been taken while she was holidaying in the Maldives.
Reacting to the news of her pregnancy many top celebrities from the Hindi film industry congratulated Dia. Priyanka Chopra wrote, “Omgeeee congratulations Dee!! ?” Anushka Sharma, who recently became a mother for the first time, shared a red heart in response to Dia’s profound note. Actor Jacqueline Fernandez wrote, “happy for you!!!” Sonakshi Sinha commented, “Congratulationssssss D!!!! ❤️❤️❤️”
Dia recently returned from Maldives, where she was holidaying with her husband Vaibhav Rekhi and Samaira, his daughter from the first wife. The actor was earlier married to film producer Sahil Sangha for five years, before separating in 2019.
On 1 April 2019, Dia had announced separation from her first husband Sahil Sangha after 11 years of staying together. Taking to Twitter, Dia had said that the couple had decided to mutually part ways. A statement issued by her had read, “Dia Mirza has also said that neither she nor her husband will comment on this matter any further. “We thank our family and our friends for all their love and understanding and members of the media for their continued support and request everyone to respect our need for privacy at this time. We will not be commenting any further on this matter.”
Dia and Rekhi tied the knot on 15 February this year at a private function.
