“Come back na, please,” Arjun Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor’s posts on Mom’s death anniversary will leave you teary eyed

Actor Arjun Kapoor on Monday took to his social media page to remember his mother Mona Shourie Kapoor, who had died on 25 March 2012. Also joining Arjun in writing incredibly emotional post was his sister Anshula.

Sharing his childhood photo with his mother, Arjun wrote, “You were my smile & I hope wherever you are I make you smile still… it’s been 7 years since you left us & all your son is asking you is come back na, please.”

In the photo, a toddler Arjun is seen posing for camera while his mother looks on.

Anshula too wrote an equally emotional post while sharing her childhood photo with her mother. She wrote, “Time changes nothing. Love you & miss you everyday Ma. 7 years since we’ve felt your hugs, heard you laugh or held your hand. Already feels like eternity, but gotta keep on keepin’ on, gotta make you proud everyday, gotta keep feeling your love with every heartbeat of our own.” Anshula signed off her tribute with a heart emoji and hashtag #AlwaysAndForever.

Their social media posts left their fans teary eyed as they reacted with comments such as ‘Stay strong. We Love You’ and ‘Stay strong di , she’s watching over you and  @arjunkapoor and loves you both.”

Mona was married to Boney Kapoor before the latter married Sridevi. Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are two Boney Kapoor’s daughters from Sridevi, who died in February last year.

Boney Kapoor’s decision to leave Mona and marry Sridevi had strained his relationship with Arjun and Anshula. However, Sridevi’s tragic death provided the much-needed healing touch and brought the family together.
