The official teaser trailer of ‘The Revenant’ starring Hollywood A-lister Leonardo DiCaprio was released on Friday by 20th Century Fox and has already crossed 37 lakh views.
The trailer shows high-intensity scenes of tension, ambience, beards, drums, and heavy breathing.
The movie, which is inspired by true events, also stars Tom Hardy, Domhnall Gleeson and Will Poulter in lead roles.
Directed and co-written by Academy Award winner Alejandro G. Inarritu, the film captures a man’s epic adventure for survival.
The plot is based on an American wilderness expedition where an explorer Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) is brutally attacked by a bear and left for death by members of his own hunting team. In a quest to survive, Glass endures unimaginable grief as well as the betrayal of his confidant John Fitzgerald (Tom Hardy). Guided by sheer will and the love of his family, Glass must navigate a pursuit to live and find redemption.
This action-adventure movie will hit the theatres this Christmas season.
