Apple Inc is facing global outrage after a TikTok star exposed how the company founded by Steve Jobs had decided to take a stand against Palestinians. This was after a TikTok star’s video showing how Siri did not recognise Palestinian areas went viral.

In the video, the TikTok star asked Siri, “Hey Siri, what time is it in Israel?” Pat came a reply, “In Jerusalem, Israel, it’s 13.20.”

The TikTok user asked, “Okay, hey Siri. What time is it in Palestine?” Siri replied, “I have no idea what time it is there?”

The TikTok user then asked Siri if it recognised various Palestinian cities. She asked, “Hey Siri, what time is it in Ramallah, Palestine?”

Siri replied, “Sorry, I don’t know what time it is in Ramallah.”

The woman asked, “Hey Siri, what time is it in Hebron?” As expected, Siri once again replied, “I have no idea what time it is in Hebron.”

Determined to expose Apple’s biases against Palestinians, the TikTok user said, “Okay, let’s try something.” She asked, “Hey Siri, what time is it in Jerusalem?” Siri had no problem is stating that the time in Jerusalem was 15.32.

Even though the TikTok user did not mention Israel, Siri said in its reply, “Jerusalem, Israel.”

The woman asked, “Hey Siri, what time is it in East Jerusalem?” Once again Siri replied, “I have no idea what tome is it in East Jerusalem. Sorry about that.

The woman commented in exasperation, “You are not sorry.”

The video has now gone viral with netizens demanding an explanation from Apple. Others called for Apple’s boycott for siding with Israel, which has been accused of committing human rights violations and illegally occupying Palestinian land.

One wrote, “ I just tried this on my iPhone and its fuc*ing true wtf.” Another commented, “ Ok. So why is this? These folks are denied basics, so now even their existence. Poor show really.”
