Akshay with his Singh is Bliing team pays tribute to shaheed Bhagat Singh


Singh is Bliing team paid tribute to the greatest martyr of the nation shaheed Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary in Delhi. The event was organized by Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal as ‘Sadbhawna Diwas-2015’.

Singers Ashok Mastie & Shankar Sawhney performed live and entertained the crowd, which saw a gathering of around 10,000 people.

The glitterati was added at the arrival of Starcast of the upcoming film Singh is Bliing, i.e. Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Lara Dutta & Prabhudeva who celebrated Martyr Bhagat Singh’s Birth Anniversary in due presence of the Chief guest, S. Sukhbir Singh Badal (Dy. CM of Punjab).

The real khiladi of the industry, Akshay Kumar was honoured with Shaheed-E-Azam Bhagat Singh National Sadbhawna Award-2015 by S. Sukhbir Singh Badal (Dy. Chief Minister of Punjab).

Wearing a turban, the actor was in his ‘reel’ avatar. Overwhelmed with the recognition given to him, he said “I am so delighted to receive this award. Bhagat Singh dedicated his life for the freedom of India, He is a youth idol and an inspiration to millions. He will remain there in the hearts of every Indian.”

Amy Jackson, Lara Dutta and Prabhudeva too were awarded. The award is conferred every year to the people having made exceptional contributions for the societal benefit.

The event was organized by the charitable NGO, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Sewa Dal.
