After filmmaker Ashoke Pandit gave a major update on Arnab Goswami’s whereabouts amidst intense speculations over his prolonged absence from TV. Kishwat, who’s been a frequent guest on Arnab’s prime time debate show, said that the Republic TV founder was in ‘good health.’
Kishwar wrote on Twitter, “For all those anxious about @republic #ArnabGoswami, please rest assured, he is in good health. He just took a break to streamline things. You will see him his usual self very soon.”

Kishwar’s tweet came days after she urged Republic TV to release an update on Arnab Goswami adding that she was concerned about the TV anchor. She had written, “Dear @republic please update us on the health status of #ArnabGoswami. The Nation Wants to Know & has a right to know that all is well with him. We are concerned.”
However, Pandit had later tweeted saying that Arnab had merely taken a short break. He had tweeted, “#ArnabGoswami @Republic is absolutely fine as per his close colleague. It’s just that he wanted to take a short break which he never took in lst 8 yrs of hs untiring effort to raise hs voice against d antinationals. So nothing to worry. D lion wl roar once again very soon.”
Arnab hasn’t made any TV appearance since 2 May when he was seen discussing the counting of votes in assembly polls. However, the controversial anchor had faced ridicule after he was accused of running away following a landslide win for Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress. The last time Arnab presented his prime time debate show was way back in April.
