Chhattisgarh CGBSE Result 2018: The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE, Chhattisgarh) declared its Matriculation Class 10th and Intermediate Class 12th results for 2018 at board’s official website: cgbse.nic.in

CGBSE, Chhattisgarh Matriculation Class 10 exams were held between 5 March and 28 March this year.

CGBSE, Chhattisgarh Intermediate Class 12 exams were held between 7 March and 2 April this year.

1: Go to the Chhattisgarh board official website: cgbse.nic.in

2: Enter your name, roll number and other required details in the respected fields.

3: Click on ‘Submit’

4: Your results will appear on the screen.

About Chhattisgarh Board:

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (abbreviated as CGBSE) is a board of school education in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. It previously existed as a School Education department of the state of Chhattisgarh. With the formation of Chhattisgarh as a separate state on the 1st of November, 2000, Chhatisgarh government School Education Department was upgraded to Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education on 20 September, 2001 under Legislative Notification No. 10-5-/13/2001-Raipur-20-7-2001. The board controls, regulates, and looks after matters associated with school education in the state of Chhatisgarh. It is responsible for the promotion and development of secondary education in the state of Chhattisgarh.

Functions Of The Board

  1. To make necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of public examination at school level. At present, the Board conducts public examinations at Middle, Matriculation and Senior Secondary Level.
  2. To prescribe the curriculum, courses of studies and text books for school education. The Board has a full- fledged academic wing, having subject experts in all the major subjects. The main responsibility of this wing is to prepare and revise the syllabuses regularly and then prepare text books accordingly.
  3. To arrange for the preparations, compilation, improvement, publication, printing and sale of text books.
  4. To make necessary arrangements for affiliations of schools to the Board.
  5. To make efforts to bring about qualitative improvement in school education.
  6. To act as an advisory body to the state Govt. regarding School Education.
