India Under19 team on Saturday defeated England in the final to be crowned the World Champions once again.
Batting first, England were bowled out for 189 with James Rew making 95. He was unlucky to have not completed what would have been a brilliant century.
Rajangad Bawa picked p five wickets while Ravi Kumar scalped four wickets for India.
India’s run chase began on a cautious note but they never looked in trouble. Shaik Rasheed, who made 94 in the semi-final, was the top scorer once again. He was out for 50. Nishant Sindhu also remained unbeaten at 50.
This is India’s fifth World Cup title. They had won the U19 World Cup on four occasions in the past.
