Sara Ali Khan is perhaps the only Bollywood actress, who has two back-to-back films released within a month on her debut in Bollywood. After wowing the audience with her acting skills in her first film Kedarnath, the daughter of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh is all set to impress her fans with Simmba, which has been directed by Rohit Shetty.
Simmba, which also stars Ranveer Singh, hits cinemas around the world on 28 December. The film has been produced under the banners of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Sara took to her Instagram, where her fan following keeps growing at an exceptional pace, to post a photo of her herself with Ranveer and Rohit, announcing that there was only one day to go for the release of Simmba.
This had followed Sara’s another post, where she was seen posing for cameras in a white embellished dress. As expected, her photos drove her fans crazy as they reacted overwhelmingly. But what caught the attention of many of her fans on Instagram was how veins in her right hand were displaying prominently. One fan wrote, “All ur veins can be easily seen.” Another commented, “You’ve a lot of blood, that’s why your veins are visible.”
The same day a video of Ranveer Singh playing Cupid for Sara and her crush Kartik Aryan surfaced. In the video, Ranveer is seen introducing her Simmba co-star to Kartik. He’s heard saying to Sara, “Glad, you guys have met,” with a teasing grin on his face. He then proceeded to form a heart with his hands. This act of Ranveer left Sara visibly embarrassed as she blushed profusely.
Sara had confessed to having a crush on Kartik during a chat show with Karan Johar recently.
Film exhibitor Akshaye Rathi said that Sara Ali Khan’s second film Simmba will be a blockbuster and will cross Rs 100 crore within 4-5 days He was quoted by Hindustan Times as saying, “Simmba looks like a sure blockbuster. It has everything working in its favour right from the set up, the cast, the director and the music. It’s the film that will surely work wonders at the box office especially with the masses.”
Rathi said that the film will collect more than Rs 25 crore on the first day of its release.
