IAS topper Tina Dabi Khan on Saturday took to social media to reveal her life goals through a heartfelt poetry in Urdu. As expected, her powerful lines left her 3 lakh plus fans on the photo and video sharing platform utterly mesmerised.
Tina’s poetry under the caption ‘life goals’ read, “Log kahte hain kya leke aaye the aur kya leke jaoge, Hum Kahte Hain ek dil lekar aaye the hazaron dilon mein jagah banakr jayenge. (People ask what did you bring when you came and what will you take when you go. I say that I came with one heart and will leave by making a place in thousands of hearts.”
Both her fans and colleagues in the bureaucrat fraternity appeared to be awestruck by her deeply meaningful poetry. Dev Choudhary, an IAS officer from Ahmedabad, applauded her poetry by posting clapping emojis. One user Sapna Gupta wrote, “You’ve already made a place in my heart.” User Gaurav Bharti wrote, “Such beautiful thoughts. No wonder you’ve been topping till now.” Another fan commented, “In your case, one can write hundreds of thousands of hearts.”
Since topping the IAS exams in 2016, Tina Dabi Khan has enjoyed considerable fame on social media platforms. She now has in excess of three lakh followers on Instagram and close to one lakh followers on Twitter, where she hasn’t been very active. Her last post on Twitter was made on 5 April when she congratulated those, who had cleared this year’s UPSC exams.
Last week, Tina trended after she teased her husband, also an IAS topper from her batch, Athar Aamir Khan by addressing him as handsome after the latter posted a short video selfie on Instagram. Her fans were quick to declare the popular IAS topper couple ‘love birds.’
Both Tina and Athar are currently posted in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara district as SDM or its equivalent posts.
