Sara Ali Khan, Saif Ali Khan’s daughter from Amrita Singh, has been one of the favourite star kids for Mumbai’s paparazzi for quite some time now. The interest in Sara is also due to her debut film Kedarnath, where she has shared screen space with Sushant Singh Rajput.
While the film is scheduled to be released later this year, Sara has also signed another big banner film Simmba under Karna Johar’s Dharma Productions opposite Ranveer Singh. Simmba will be directed by Rohit Shetty.
Up until now Sara’s photos have found their way to photo-sharing social media platform, Instagram, through many of her fan pages. Many wondered if the young actress will ever make her presence felt on Instagram with her own official account since her father Saif Ali Khan doesn’t exist on social media platforms.
Putting all speculations to rest, casting director Shanoo Sharma on Wednesday made the announcement that Sara had created her official account on Instagram. While sharing a family of Sara, brother Ibrahim and mother Amrita Singh, Sharma wrote, “Welcome on board baby!!! @saraalikhan95 entertain us now!”
Within hours, Sara amassed nearly quarter million followers on Instagram. She even posted a photo on her Insta story that said, “Happy Birthday Saifu.”
This coincided with a party hosted by Saif, who turns 47 today. Joining the celebrations were Sara and her brother Ibrahim.
Saif even posed for camera with wife Kareena Kapoor Khan, actress Karisma Kapoor, daughter Sara, son Ibrahim, brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu and sister Soha Ali Khan among others.
As expected, Amrita was not present at the party. In one of his old interviews, Saif had explained the pain he went through after separating from Amrita. He had said that the divorce with Amrita had huge financial consequences on him and nearly left him bankrupt. He had also alleged that Amrita did not allow him to meet his children.
