Comedian Kapil Sharma, who spectacularly fell out with his friend Sunil Grover last month, has had to live with incredible revolt by some of his long-time friends.
Sharma had hit headlines after reports of his in-flight brawl with Grover dominated media coverage. This prompted Grover, who played the character of Dr Mashoor Gulati on his Sony TV programme, to walk out of Kapil Sharma Show.
Both actors also unfollowed each other on Twitter.
Sharma made every attempt to bring him back. He even issued a public apology and reportedly visited Grover bat his residence. But, to no avail.
Grover was soon joined by Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar, who too boycotted the show causing a significant damage to the programme’s ratings.
It now emerges that an angry Sharma has unfollowed Prabhakar and Asgar and virtually closed all doors for a compromise.
Asgar has not tweeted since 17 March, while Prabhakar’s last tweet was posted on 6 April, four days after he was blessed with a daughter.
Meanwhile, Grover has already begun shooting for a special TV show with Sunny Leone. There are reports that Sony TV has issued a one-month ultimatum to Sharma to improve the ratings of his show failing which the channel may even consider fronting Grover as the face of a new comedy show.
Not so long ago, we had reported how even Navjot Sidhu had failed to turn up for a shoot of Kapil Sharma Show.
