JSPL Foundation co-chairperson and famous Kuchipudi danseuse Shallu Jindal has won this year’s CMO Asia’s Best CSR Award 2019 for Social Entrepreneurship.
Jindal received the award in the individual category in CMO Asia’s Annual Asia Award Ceremony organised at Hotel Pan Pacific in Singapore.

It’s a proud moment for JSPL Foundation which is contributing a lot to the Indian society through various CSR activities.”
Jindal, a disciple of Padma Bhushan Guru Raja and Radha Reddy, is also a highly accomplished Kuchipudi danseuse and a noted social contributor. She has been honoured with several awards for her outstanding achievements in the field of Indian classical dance, arts and culture, education and community development.
She has also compiled books like Tiranga and Freedom. She authored her first book for children titled “India: An Alphabet Ride” while serving as Chairperson of National Bal Bhawan. She is also the Founder-President of Young FICCI Ladies Organisation and founder of Jindal Art Institute.
Under the guidance of Jindal, her JSPL Foundation has promoted more than 7000 microenterprises in the farm, off-farm and non-farm sectors.
Under her command, JSPL Foundation has been able to generate sustainable livelihood options for 3,000 families and indirect employment for 40,000 families.
