Industrialist Naveen Jindal and a host of Bollywood stars joined together to congratulate India’s star shuttler PV Sindhu after she became the first Indian on Sunday to win the BWF World Championships. This was after the star badminton player defeated Japan’s Nozomi Okuhara in straight sets 21-7, 21-7.

According to report by IANS, today’s victory by Sindhu was her fifth medal at the World Championships, which is the joint highest in women’s singles in the history of the tournament along with Xhang Ning of China, a two-time Olympic gold medallist.
