The PSL had to be postponed in March after Pakistan reported a growing number of coronavirus cases in the country. Several international cricketers such as Adam Lyth, James Vince, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Ravi Bopara and Saqib Mahmood did not return following the postponement.
The Indian Premier League too had to be postponed after several players tested positive for coronavirus. There are reports that the IPL would resume in the UAE after India return from England in September.
