A tweet by Navbharat Times, a sister publication of Times Now, had posted a tweet claiming that Tejashwi had broken down upon learning that his father had been convicted. The NBT tweet had posted a short video, broadcast on Times Now post Lalu Yadav’s conviction.
The anchor speaking over the video of Tejashwi’s reaction claimed that the latter had become emotional. The claim by Times Now visibly angered the young RJD leader.
However, some reporters covering the CBI special court’s proceedings said that Tejashwi’s eyes had welled up after his father’s conviction.
A special CBI court in Ranchi has convicted former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav in fodder scam case. The court in Ranchi has acquitted former Bihar Chief Minister, in fodder scam case. Along with Mishra, Dhruv Bhagat, Vidyasagar.
The sentencing of the all convicted will take place on 3 January. Yadav will have to be sent to jail until the then.
