RRB NTPC 2019 Exam: The Railway Recruitment Board has postponed the first stage computer-based test, also known as CBT, for the Non Technical Popular Category (NTPC). The decision to postpone the exam is because the RRB is currently busy conducting other recruitment exams such as for junior engineers. The CBT for NTPC was expected to be held between June and September this year.
The RRB has, however, not released a new date for these exams. A total of 35,277 vacancies are expected to be filled. The educational requirement for 10,628 vacancies is just Class 12, while candidates must be graduate for the remaining 24,649 vacancies.
“A committee will decide the basic eligibility criteria and other terms and conditions to float a tender. After receiving applications, we will shortlist the agency. This may take over a month,” Indian Express quoted a senior Railways official.
A notice by RRB said that the revised schedule will be published in the official websites of all RRBs later on.
