Kejriwal said that he was grateful to Dr. Anas and others who rose to the occasion to save people’s lives during the time of a pandemic. He added, “I was just speaking to Dr. Anas’ father, who himself is a doctor. When I asked him to contact me for anything, his answer was that ‘I don’t need anything from the government. I hope my family and I are able to serve the nation.’ This is what a father told me barely 10 days after losing his 26-year-old son.”
Dr. Anas Mujahid’s father said that he had made his son a doctor hoping that he would one day serve the country.
