Jadhav helps India thrash Zimbabwe by 83 runs, complete 3-0 whitewash

An imposing performance with the bat was followed by an equally impressive show with the ball as India thrashed Zimbabwe by 83 runs in the final one-day international at Harare to win the three-match series 3-0.

For India, Kedar Jadhav and Manish Pandey stitched a crucial 144-run parternship after the team was initially struggling at 82/4. Pandey, in his debut ODI, scored 71 off 86 balls while Jadhav scored his first ODI century, getting 105 runs off just 87 balls.

In reply to India’s 276/5, Zimbabwe could manage only 193 all out in 42.4 overs.

Chamu Chibhabha once again top-scored for Zimbabwe with 82. For India, Stuart Binny was the best bowler with figures of 3/55. Harbhajan Singh, Axar Patel and Mohit Sharma each bagged two wickets.
