Veteran communist leader AB Bardhan died on Saturday in New Delhi at the age of 92.
Bardhan had suffered a paralytic stroke on 7 December and was under treatment at a Delhi hospital since then. He continued to remain critical and passed away at 8.13 pm on Saturday.
Born on September 24, 1924, Mr. Bardhan was a prominent trade union leader from Maharashtra. He has served as General Secretary of CPI.
