Ramdev has been facing widespread condemnation from all and sundry for his several controversial comments. In one video, he was seen calling modern medicine ‘stupid science.’ In another video, he was seen making fun of COVID-19 warrior doctors, who had died in their line of duty. He had also questioned the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines.

The IMA had earlier served him a legal notice as it asked the central government to prosecute the controversial Hindu leader. However, days later, Ramdev was seen flaunting his power as he announced that no one was capable of arresting him. He had told his supporters, “Khair arrest to unka baap bhi nahi kar sakta Swami Ramdev ko (Anyways, even their father can’t arrest Swami Ramdev).”

Many had wondered the Ramdev’s confidence which he used to challenge even the law enforcement agencies. He’s been a known supporter of the BJP and many feel that he enjoys the blessings of the BJP governments both in Delhi and in Uttarakhand.
