Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his council of ministers on Friday hours after the city police raided the latter’s house.

He wrote, “Met Hon’ble CM @ArvindKejriwal & his cabinet colleagues. Strongly condemn the recent unfortunate incidents. Advised elected Govt. to take steps to remove mistrust with Govt. employees so that development of Delhi is not affected. No place for violence in democracy.”

Delhi Police on Friday had conducted raids at Kejriwal’s residence. The video of cops seeking information on the wall paint and washroom had gone viral on social media platforms. It was during the raids when Kejriwal had tweeted seeking appointment with Baijal.
The controversy was kick-started after the Delhi chief secretary, Anshu Prakash, earlier this week had sensationally alleged that he was assaulted by at least two AAP MLAs. The Delhi Police had later arrested Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal. Both were later sent to judicial custody for 14 days.
AAP leaders including a cabinet colleague of Kejriwal had alleged physical assault by civil servants inside the Delhi secretariat.
