Renowned cimate scientist RK Pachauri, who has been embroiled in multiple charges of sexual harassment, has been forced to go on an indefinite leave by the environmental think tank TERI.
Ashok Chawla has been appointed the new chairman of the TERI Council, reports NDTV.
The council has conferred full executive powers to Ajay Mathur.
Pachauri has denied allegations against him.
