Delhi assembly on Wednesday witnessed an unruly scene after two youth were thrashed by Aam Aadmi Party MLAs. The incident took place soon after paper missiles were hurled at the Delhi health minister, Satyendar Jain from the visitors’ gallery during the ongoing assembly session.

The identity of the youth, who hurled paper missiles and the motive behind are not known.

The two men claimed they were AAP workers. Their protests caused the assembly proceedings to be disrupted by at least 30 minutes.

CBI had registered a preliminary enquiry (PE) against the AAP minister in connection with the allegations of money laundering in April. He was recently examined by the agency in connection with the probe.

Jain is alleged to be involved in money laundering to the tune of Rs 4.63 crore while being a public servant during 2015-16 through Prayas Info Solutions Private Limited, Akinchan Developers Private Limited and Managalyatan Projects Private Limited, CBI sources said.
