Commonwealth Gold medallist badminton player Jwala Gutta has announced her wedding with actor Vishnu Vishal. Jwala took to her social media paged to announce, “We are getting married.”
Her announcement read, “With the blessings of our families it gives us immense joy in sharing the news of our marriage. In a private affair in presence of near and dear we are getting married.”
It added, “We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek blessings as we embark on this journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness.”
Both Jwala and Vishnu will tie the knot on 22 April.
Jwala had taken to Twitter last year on her 37th birthday to announce her engagement with the cricketer-turned-actor Vishnu Vishal. She had tweeted, “”N dis happened last nite n what a beautiful surprise it was! Today when I think of my life what a journey it has been n 2day I realise there is so much more to luk forward to! Towards our family,Aryan,friends and work!its gonna be another great journey am sure.”
Vishnu, who played professional cricket for Tamil Nadu before his career was cut short by an injury, had also tweeted last year, “”Happy birthday @Guttajwala New start to LIFE.. Lets be positive and work towards a better future for us,Aryan,our families,friends and people around.. Need all your love n blessings guys.. #newbeginnings.”
This is the second marriage for both Jwala and Vishnu. While Jwala was earlier married to fellow shuttler Chetan Anand, Vishnu has a son from his first marriage.
