Bollywood newest obsession, Janhvi Kapoor, has continued to dominate the discourse on social in the run-up to the release of her debut film Dhadak. The actress is relentlessly promoting her film by travelling across the country.
She’s already been to Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, Pune in Maharashtra before visiting the financial capital of Gujarat, Ahmedabad this week.
In a marked departure from her shy self only a few months ago, Janhvi is now seen exhibiting plenty of confidence as she demonstrates her new authority through her attire and public interaction.
On Tuesday, the actor visited an FM radio station to promote her film. While Ishaan chose a simple long-sleeved white T-shirt and trouser, Janhvi was making a new style statement even here. Attired in multi-coloured flared top and denim shorts, she looked every bit attractive. The video of her taking a casual walk inside the radio station is now breaking the internet.
In another photo clicked, supposedly during the promotion of Dhadak, Janhvi is seen leaning on Ishaan while giving a seductive pose. Dressed in a sleeveless sports bra and blue trouser with open hair, this was the first time her fans saw her in such a pose. This is clearly in contrast to her girl next door image that her fans have been used to up until now.
During her Ahmedabad promotional tour, Janhvi was seen wearing flame orange halterneck, wraparound floor-length top. Even here, Janhvi’s fashion statement could not go unnoticed.
While on the radio channel, Janhvi said that Anshula Kapoor (her half sister) and Khushi Kapoor( younger sister) had only nice things to say about her film even they were known to be blunt with their feedback.
In her recent interview to a newspaper, Janhvi had expressed her admiration for Arjun Kapoor (her half brother) and Anshula. Stating that she couldn’t have asked for a ‘a better brother and a better sister,’ Janhvi had said, “The only reason we can stand strong after whatever happened is because of the kind of love and support Arjun bhaiyya and Anshula didi [half-siblings] have been giving us [she and her younger sister, Khushi].”
