Janata Sal United leader, Ali Anwar, has made a shameful statement for Smriti Irani, who was recently moved out of HRD ministry in the cabinet reshuffle.
Reacting to Irani’s departure from the important HRD ministry, Anwar said, “Good that Irani has been elected as textile minister it will help her cover body.”
After facing widespread condemnation for his misogynistic remarks for a woman minister, Anwar issued clarification stating that he “was referring to the bodies of the people in general.”
BJP’s spokesperson, Sambit Patra said, “Absolutely Appalling ..really can’t believe that people can fall to this level!”
