BJP MP from Jamnagar in Gujarat on Monday fell into a 7 foot well in Jalla Ram Nagar.
Poonamben Madam was rushed to nearby hospital, where she is currently under treatment.
The incident, according to ANI, took place when she was speaking to a group of people during an anti-encroachment drive.
The fire brigade team stationed nearby was quick to rescue the MP, who sustained injuries. She’s believed to be out of danger now.
