US President Joe Biden on Saturday fell off his bike as he tried to get off it. The accident took place near his beach home in Delaware after the US President completed his bike ride.
Much to the relief of his staff, the 79-year-old US President immediately got back to his feet and moved to talk with members of the public.
Speaking about the accident, Biden said that he did not sustain any injuries and that his foot was caught in the pedal strap. He told reporters, “I’m good.”

For Biden, it was a business as usual as he took to Twitter to announce that vaccines for kids under 5 had been authorized.
“Good news, folks: Vaccines for kids under 5 have now been authorized by the FDA and recommended by the CDC.For the first time, virtually every American can access the protections from these lifesaving vaccines – from our youngest to our most senior Americans,” Biden tweeted.
Biden’s wife Jill had also joined him for the bike ride.
