Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday said that his car in Ludhiana in Punjab was attacked by stones and sticks.

He tweeted, “My car attacked with sticks and stones in Ludhiana. Front glass pane broken. Badals n congress nervous? They can’t break my spirits.”

Aam Aadmi Party leader Ashish Khetan said that it was an ‘orchestrated’ attack.

He said, “In a well orchestrated attack the goons sent by Badals attacked Kejriwal’s car with stones and rods as police stood by. The attackers came within an inch of grievously injuring Kejriwal. It was by only God’s grace that he escaped unhurt.”

Kejriwal is currently on a five-day visit to Punjab, which goes to polls in 2017. He’s been meeting the families of those affected by the menace of drugs and farmers affected by drought.

Kejriwal is expected to return to Delhi after concluding his Punjab visit tonight.
