Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday launched stinging attack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi accusing him of protecting anti-national elements for political gains.

Kejriwal’s outbursts came hours after www.jantakareporter.com  reported about a sedition case being filed against him, Congress Vice President, Rahul Gandhi, CPIM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury and other opposition leaders in a Hyderabad police station.

Kejriwal said, “They have filed a a sedition case against me. I’m an anti-national because I’ve been raising voices for Dalits, underprivileged and poor. I will continue to raise my voices for them. You can stifle my voice.”

Addressing Modi, the Delhi CM said that he was a bigger patriot than him. He asked why Modi had failed to arrest those who shouted anti-India slogans.

He said, “I’m bigger patriot than Modiji. I want to ask why Modi ji has not been able to arrest those who chanted anti-India slogans? Is it because those chanted anti-India slogans are from Kashmir and arresting them will make Mehbooba Mufti angry?

“Our soldiers are dying everyday at the border and Modiji is protecting anti-national elements to form government in Kashmir.”

A sedition case was filed in a Hyderabad police station against Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and several other Congress, CPI and CPIM leaders.

The complaint asked the court to direct the ‘S.H.O Saroor Nagar, U/Sec 156(3) Cr.P.C for investigation and report and punish’ all the accused for the offences U/Sec 124,124-A r/w 34 IPC.

Among other leaders named in the complaint are CPIM general secretary Sitaram Yechury, CPI’s D Raja, JDU’s KC Tyagi, Congress’ Ajay Maken and Anand Sharma.

The complainant, a BJP supporter, had alleged that by going to JNU to join protesting students, these leaders had committed sedition.
