A Mumbai court on Wednesday denied bail to Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, in a drug case. The court also rejected bail pleas of other two accused namely Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha.

According to Livelaw, Special Judge VV Patil delivered the verdict.
Aryan was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on 3 October after the anti-drug agency detained him along with seven others from a Goa-bound cruise. The 23-year-old star son has been behind bars in Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail since 8 October.

Several Bollywood celebrities including Sunil Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Hrithik Roshan have openly extended their support to Shah Rukh Khan. Hrithik had penned an emotional note for Aryan advising him to remain strong.
Hrithik had written, “The anger, the confusion, the helplessness. Aaah , the very ingredients that are needed to burn the hero out from inside you. But be wary , those same ingredients could burn away the good stuff… the kindness, the compassion, the love. Allow yourself to burn, but just enough.. Mistakes , failings , victories , success… they’r all the same if you know which parts to keep with you and which parts to throw away from the experience. But know that you can grow better with them all.”
Raveena, for her part, had termed it a ‘shameful politics’ as she wrote, “Shameful politics being played out.. it’s a young mans life and future they toying with … heartbreaking.”
Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik has been relentless in exposing the dirty links between the central government agency and the BJP adding that Shah Rukh Khan was the next target.
