India is currently going through a new wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, which is believed to be deadlier than the one that struck the country last year. More than two lakh positive cases are being reported every day with scores of deaths.
Several states, mostly ruled by the BJP, are struggling to deal with the growing number of fatalities.
