Actor and TV host Mandira Bedi has lashed out at trolls who used objectionable terms for her daughter Tara by calling her ‘adopted daughter street kid from slumdog centre.’
This was after a troll wrote, “Madam from which slumdog centre u adopt prop daughter!?” Sharing the screenshot of the troll’s comment, Mandira wrote, “People like this need to be given a special mention. Kudos @bollywoodforevaaa you got my attention you piece of shit.”
Another troll had written, “The adopted street kid looks completely out of place. u greedy narcissists are scarring the slumdog for life.”
Mandira shared the troll’s screenshot as she replied, “More from the model citizen. He calls himself Rajesh Tripathi, which definitely isn’t his name, because Sickos like this are the biggest cowards too, who only know how to wag their tongues behind the shield of anonymity.”
Mandira and her husband Raj Kaushal had adopted a girl in July last year. They later named her Tara Kaushal Bedi.
Last year in October, Mandirahad shared a photo of herself with Tara as she wrote, “She has come to us Like a blessing from above Our little girl, Tara. ⭐️ Four years and a bit
With eyes that sparkle like stars Sister to her Vir ❣️”

She had continued, “Welcoming her home With open arms and pure love Grateful, thankful. blessed ???????? Tara Bedi Kaushal ❣️ Became a part of our family on 28th July 2020.”
Going by Mandira Instagram posts, there’s absolutely no doubt that she is madly in love with her both children, Vir and Tara. This explains why she lashed out at the trolls when they used nasty terms to describe her adopted daughter. Her response may act as deterrent for other sick trolls in the future.
Mandira and Raj had welcomed their first child Vir in 2011.
