Mass shooting in near a golf course in San Bernardino, California, on Wednesday has left at least 14 killed.
There are also reports of two gunmen being killed.
The San Bernardino Fire Department had on Wednesday tweeted that it was responding to a “20 victim shooting incident” and it was working to clear the scene.
A spokeswoman from the San Bernardino Police department said that it was still a “very active scene” and police were trying to secure the building.
President Barack Obama too responded to the shooting.
“One thing we do know is that we have a pattern of mass shootings in this country that has no parallel anywhere in the world,” he said.
“There are some steps that we could take, not to eliminate all incidents, but to make sure they happen less frequently.”
She said that the shooters may be three in number adding that the gunmen were heavily armed and possibly wearing body armour.
Fox News reported that the shooting may have killed 12 people.

A local technology reported tweeted saying that California state facility for developmental disabilities appeared to have been the centre of the shooting.
