Acknowledging the technical problem affecting the microblogging site, Twitter India tweeted, “We’ve been experiencing outages across Twitter and TweetDeck. You might have had trouble Tweeting, getting notifications, or viewing DMs. We’re currently working on a fix, and should be back to normal soon.”

The current outage has prevented millions of users across the world from posting website links, photos and videos on their timelines. Users are able to post text messages without any links.

User Dr Shabana Pathan wrote, “Not able to tweet for quite a time. But, am able to retweet.” User Riaz Ahmed wrote, “Unable to upload photos or media links.” User Rakhi tweeted, “Not showing trends.”

Twitter reportedly has about 321 million active users as of the year 2019. The microblogging site was still down at the time of writing this report.
