Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has had to face intense social media roasting for his NRC remarks made against BJP MP Manoj Tiwari. Kejriwal had said that if the government decided to prepare an NRC list in Delhi, the BJP’s Delhi President Manoj Tiwari will have to leave the national capital.
“If the NRC is applied in Delhi, then Manoj Tiwari will be the first to be forced to leave Delhi,” he had told reporters on Wednesday. His comments irked the BJP supporters, who began to incessantly troll him on Twitter.
BJP workers also staged a protest outside Kejriwal‘s home on Thursday.
Here’s how Twitterati reacted to Kejriwal’s comments:

Delhi goes to polls in February next year with both Kejriwal and the BJP eyeing to form the next government in the national capital. Kejriwal had recently come under flak for supporting the BJP in abrogating Article 270 on Jammu and Kashmir.
