Tamil and Telugu actress Rakul Preet is facing social media heat from Dulquer Salmaan fans after she ignored the latter while appreciating Director Nag Ashwin’s Mahanati on Twitter.
Rakul Preet wrote, “Finally saw #Mahanati n it’s a “MASTERPIECE”.. kudos 2 d entire team 4 making a film like this. Savitri garu will be remembered forever! @KeerthyOfficial what a lovely performance ! Take a bow ..@Samanthaprabhu2 @VijayDevarkonda (sic)”

While Rakul tagged the other actors such as Keerthy Suresh, Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda, she did not tag Salmaan, who has played the lead role of Gemini Ganesan in the film. Salmaan is also the son of the Malayalam cinema’s legend Mammootty.
Many wondered if Rakul Preet had posted her ‘review’ without having watched the movie. One user asked, “Look like u didn’t see the movie. If u see the movie, Where is our superstar Dulquer Salmaan? (sic)” Another user summed it brilliantly, “I think you didn’t watched the movie or you will be sleeping while watching the movie U know #savitri had a husband named #geminiganeshan played by @dulQuer.”
Salmaan’s other fans took to Twitter to give grief to Rakul Preet.
