Republic senator, Ted Cruz, has found himself embroiled in a porn clip row after his official Twitter handle liked a hardcore sex video on the microblogging site.
A red-faced Cruz has now issued a defence stating that the like for the ‘Sexuall Posts’ video was accidental and he wasn’t behind the act.
Speaking to CNN, Cruz refused the name the individual in his office, who he blamed for accidentally liking the video.
“It was an honest mistake, it wasn’t malicious, it wasn’t deliberate. It was not me and it’s not going to happen again,” he said.
The clip, which appeared in his likes, was from an account called “Sexuall Posts” and contained a 2:20 segment of a video from the adult video website Reality Kings. The account that posted the video promised “Full-Length HD Porn Posted Every Day,” reported Huffington Post.
However, his clarification did not have much effect on the Twitter users, most of whom had quirky take on the whole incident.
Here are some of the examples;

Ted Cruz said it was a staffer that like the porn tweet. My question is, why was Ted watching porn with one of his staffers?
