Curse of Pakistani journalist Zainab Abbas has Kohli out on zero

India may have beaten Pakistan in their opening encounter in the Champions Trophy competition but the team looked pedestrian against Sri Lanka in their subsequent match, suffering humiliating defeat by 7 wickets.

What was worse was how the skipper, Virat Kohli, looked out of touch with his bat and returned to dressing room without bothering the scorer. He failed to open his account.

Another stylist batsman, who faced the similar fate in the ongoing encounter was the South African captain, AB de Villiers, who too got out on zero against Pakistan.

For eagle-eyed Twitter users, it wasn’t a mere coincidence that the two of the world’s best batsmen, both captains, could open their accounts in two successive days.

They quickly discovered the eerie similarity involving both the stars. Both had their selfie taken by a Pakistani journalist, Zainab Abbas.

Zainab, who’s an anchor with Pakistan’s Duniya TV, had her selfie taken with both the stars during the tournament. She’s now become a huge Twitter and Facebook sensation.

Her caption on Kohli had said, “Had to be done.” While the caption on De Villiers said, “Told him to go easy on us tomorrow ?? AB the man! ”
