Sakshi Dhoni’s epic response to Rising Pune Supergiant owner Goenka, who ‘insulted’ husband Mahi

Sakshi Dhoni is turning out to be quite a feisty wife. Not so long ago, Mrs Dhoni earned plenty of plaudits for taking on Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad after an agency hired by his ministry made Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s personal details public.

She was later abused by BJP supporters on social media platforms.

Now, Sakshi has chosen to take on the owners of Rising Pune Supergiant, the IPL team her husband is currently contracted with.

One of the team owners Harsh Goenka has been posting tweets, deemed incredibly insulting to Mahi for his perceived lack of form. Known for his chivalry, Mahi has understandably not reacted to any of the tweets.

His wife, however, could not take any further and decided to hit back at Goenkas through Instagram.

In one of her posts, Sakshi was seen wearing the jersey of Chennai Super Kings. Her caption said, “Throwback.’

And if this did not give a clearer hint, she posted ‘rule of karma’ making it abundantly clear who she was targetting at.

Her Rule of Karma post said, “When a bird is alive, it eats ants. When the bird is dead, ants eat the bird. Time and circumstances can change at any time. Don’t devalue or hurt anyone in life. You may be powerful today, but remember, time is more powerful than you. One tree makes a million match sticks but only one match is needed to burn a million trees. So be good and do good.”

Goenkas, it’s believed, are not happy with Dhoni’s form prompting the team management to not consider him even as a stand-in captain. Some of Goenka’s recent tweets, particularly the one posted after his team’s 7-wicket win over Mumbai Indias, angered Dhoni fans. In that tweet, Harsh had paid glowing tribute to captain Steve Smith, but also made uncharitable comments about Dhoni.
