Speaking to media, AAP leader Asutosh said, “Rajasthan’s responsibility has now been handed over to Deepak Bajpai so that he can strengthen the organisation by staying in the state. He will also prepare the strategy for the elections. He will also speak to senior functionaries of the party to decide on the strategy and finalise the list of candidates.”

Rajasthan goes to polls later this year and the AAP has already decided to contest elections in the state. Asutosh said that Bajpai had been staying in Japipur for several months adding that his party will highlight the corrupt governance of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje Scindia.

Although, Vishwas has not officially reacted to the new development, he posted a couple tweets that indirectly attacked the AAP leadership.

Earlier this year, Vishwas had hit out at Kejriwal after he was ignored for the Rajya Sabha berth. A minister Delhi’s Kejriwal government had accused him of hatching a conspiracy to topple the AAP government.

Senior minister in the Delhi’s AAP government, Gopal Rai had alleged that Vishwas  was at the “centre” of conspiracies hatched to topple the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi after the municipal polls. This was after Vishwas launched an all-out attack against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for leaving him out of the Rajya Sabha nominations. Vishwas had held Kejriwal responsible for the denial of the Rajya Sabha berth to him. In hsi response, he had also requested the Delhi chief minister that he be spared with any future attacks by his ministers and ‘social media warriors’ of AAP.
