Former India opener, Gautam Gambhir has hit out at those who mocked the daughter of Kargil martyr, Gurmehar Kaur, for opposing ABVP. In a video message, former teammate of Sehwag said that people who attacked Gurmehar had indulged in despicable act. He wrote, “The freedom of expression is absolute and equal for all.
High time we learnt that and practiced it daily in every sphere of life.” The 32-year-old cricketer also said in his video message, “I have the utmost respect for the Indian Army. Their service to the nation and all of us unmatched. However, the recent events have left me with a sense of disappointment.”
