Shanti Bhushan calls AAP one-man party, son Prashant attacks Kejriwal

Former Union minister Shanti Bhushan calls AAP one-man party with an alleged single-point agenda of bad-mouthing Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Criticising Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Bhushan said that he had crossed all limits by alleging that the Prime Minister was conspiring to kill him.

“Aam Aadmi Party has become a one-man party. It does nothing except bad-mouthing the Prime Minister,” Bhushan alleged while addressing the concluding session of a two-day Swaraj Abhiyan national convention here.

“He (Kejriwal) has not kept a single department with himself. What is he drawing a salary for? He crossed all limits when he said Modi is conspiring to kill him,” Bhushan was quoted by PTI.

Meanwhile, son Prashant Bhushan, too launched a separate attack against the AAP leader by claiming that he had warned him about the MLAs now being probed for alleged crimes.

Taking to Twitter, Prashant posted a detail on AAP MLA Sharad Chauhan, who was arrested by Delhi Police in connection with the suicide of a party volunteer Soni.

Prashant’s tweet said, “We objected to tkt to this muscleman known to use money&liquor.An AAP volunteer names him in suicide note.Vendetta?! (sic)”

AAP legislator from Narela Sharad Chauhan was arrested by police on Sunday taking the total number of arrested party MLAs to 12. Chauhan and main accused Ramesh Bhardwaj were questioned by the crime branch of Delhi Police for several hours in the past four days in connection with the case.

The woman had consumed a poisonous substance at her home in North-West Delhi’s Narela and died during treatment at LNJP Hospital on July 19. The woman had filed a complaint against Bhardwaj for allegedly touching her inappropriately and a case of molestation was registered in June. The accused was arrested and later released on bail.

On July 20, Delhi Police had registered a case of abetment to suicide and handed over the entire matter to a Special Investigation Team.
