Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, the farmers wing of the RSS, on Sunday told the Madhya Pradesh chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to buy cow urine from the state’s farmers much like the Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev was doing from them for Patanjali.
BKS state chief Rambharos Basotiya told Chouhan that Ramdev was buying cow urine for Rs 5 a litre, and asked if the state government could do the same.
The suggestion, as reported by Indian Express, came after the MP chief minister asked BKS to form a committee and suggest ways to make better use of cow milk, its urine and dung.
The occasion was a ceremony to felicitating the farmers on the state winning a central award for food grain production.
Chouhan on 31 January had said how he intended to start a gaushala of his own but was waiting for the number of cows he owned to reach 50.
Among other things, Chouhan posed with cow and a calf, an action that was reminiscent of Uma Bharati’s erase when the latter was seen chasing cows with roti.
