Troll, alleged molester and man who physically assaulted Prashant Bhushan made BJP spokesperson


BJP’s Delhi unit on Tuesday announced that it was appointing a famous social media troll, Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga its new spokesperson.

Among those who congratulated Bagga on his appointment included many union cabinet ministers and BJP sympathisers including some from Congress party such as Priyanka Chaturvedi and Tehseen Poonawalla.

However, not everyone was impressed with the BJP’s choice of Bagga. Dr Jwala Gurunath, who is followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, tweeted, “Getting a verified tag in BJP becoming a spokesperson is like winning noble prizes lol trolls u can’t get lower than this .pity ur parents (sic)”

Her another tweet said, “U get jobs in bjp if u harass molest a woman n troll them till they die. (sic)”

Bagga had shot to fame in October 2011, when he attacked renowned Supreme Court lawyer and activist, Prashant Bhushan, because of the latter’s statement on Kashmir.

Far from showing remorse, Bagga had taken to twitter to flaunt his alleged criminal act.

His tweet had said, “He tried to break my nation, I tried to break his head. Hisab chukta. Congrats to all. Operation Prashant Bhushan successful. We hit Prashant Bhushan hard in his chamber in the Supreme Court. If you will try to break my nation, I will break your heads.”

Arnab Goswami, who then headed Times Now channel, had termed him a hooligan (watch below).

Even Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who will now be Bagga’s colleague as a senior party functionary, had condemned his violent act calling unacceptable.

Bagga has also been running a dirty campaign against Janta Ka Reporter by indulging in defamatory acts. Days after Janta Ka Reporter was launched, he started a concerted campaign against the website.

Months later, he also publicly admitted on social media his role behind launching a parody website to cause both financial and reputational damages to Janta Ka Reporter.
