Disha Patani trolled for posting photo in ‘messy’ bra amidst national mourning on Pulwama attack

Bollywood actress Disha Patana recently hogged media limelight after she announced that she had said yes to boyfriend and actor Tiger Shroff’s proposal. Tiger too had made a confession on social media to announce that he had been ‘taken.’ The same day, India suffered the deadliest terror attack on its armed forces after a suicide bomber rammed into a CRPF convoy with more than 350 kgs of explosives, killing 42 soldiers.

It’s in this context that Disha has found herself in a spot of bother for her new social media post. And the photo in question is once again a photo in a bra. The Baaghi 2 actress posted a photo of herself in a white bra without any caption. No sooner had she posted the photo, even her ardent fans detected a tinge of insensitivity since her post came at a time India was mourning the deaths of its soldiers.

One fan wrote, “At least have some respect for our solders.” Other wrote sarcastically, “Very good man. You proved your priority between business and nation.” “Don’t post such posts at least now. Chances are you will be declared an anti-national.”

Others took potshots at her bra as one asked why her strap was messy. Another teased her by asking if she had bought it from a local market for ‘Rs 15-Rs 20.’

This is not the first time that Disha has found herself at the receiving end for posting photos in undergarments. Last year, she had first faced merciless trolling when she decided to greet Hindus on their Diwali festival by wearing just a sports bra. Days later, she had wished her Christian fans a Merry Christmas by simply wearing a bikini.

Disha on Saturday posted a video with one of her fans, who she had gone out on a date with this Valentine’s Day. In the video, she explained that love was about companionship and friendship.

On the professional front, Disha will be seen in Salman Khan’s Bharat, which is set to hit cinemas this Eid.
