Disha Patani trolled for ‘killer lips’ and ‘make-up shop’ amidst reports of upsetting producers with tantrums

Bollywood actress Disha Patani has been celebrating the success of her last release Bharat opposite Salman Khan. The film exceeded even the best expectation of its makers by collecting nearly Rs 300 cr at the box office. A popular star on Instagram, where she has in excess of 23 million followers, Disha once again dominated social media conversations recently because of yet another photo and reports of throwing tantrums. But this time, it wasn’t her outfit that triggered a wave of comments from her fans. The topic of intense conversations on her timeline on Monday was her qaatil lips (as described by her followers).

Disha on Monday shared a close-up photo of herself with a rose emoji and chose not to write a caption in line with her past practices for most of her social media posts. What stood out in her close-up photo was her dark red lipstick.

This instantly evoked a wave of reactions from her fans. One fan called it ‘qaatil lips’, while another commented, “Love the lip shade you are wearing.” However, most of the comments were not flattering as Disha began to face incessant trolling. One user wrote, “You’re looking like a man in this pic.” “You’ve spoiled your look with this make-up,” wrote another user. One user wrote, “You are looking a make-up shop (make-up ki dukaan) here.”

Disha was in the news recently after Times of India reported that her producers were unhappy with her regular tantrums on the sets. “Disha has been doing this for a while now. She does not stay on sets for long hours and even if she does, it always has to be the way she wants it to be. Even her decisions go back and forth with every commitment which has upset the producers over her cranky mood, all the time,” the paper quoted a production source as saying.

On the work front, Disha will be next seen in Malang, which also stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor.
