Air-strike `kills` Islamic State`s number 2 in Iraq

Iraqi ministry of defence says that a US-led air strike had killed the second-in-command of the Islamic State in northern Iraq.
Spokesperson Brig-Gen Tahsin Ibrahim said that Abdul Rahman Mustafa Mohammed was killed inside a mosque.The US military, so far, has not confirmed this report.
Iraqi sources in the past had claimed of IS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi`s death in an air-strike in March.
There were unconfirmed reports that Mohammed, who was also known as Abu Alaa al-Afri, had taken temporary charge of IS operations in Iraq.
